Travelling within London
As soon as you arrive in London you will need to discover the best way to get around this large city.
London Underground

This site has a useful tool called the "Tube Guru" which can highlight all local attractions to a tube station of your choice, be it where you are living or working. Try it here.
London Bus
The bus service in London is excellent and inexpensive. Your traditional double decker red London bus can take you anywhere you wish to go throughout the city for �1. For more information on fares and routes click here.
Taxis
NurseFindersUK would strongly recommend that whilst in London if you are using a taxi that you use only black cabs and never use any private mini cab service, unless it is one that you have telephoned for one from home. There are many unlicensed mini cab firms operating throughout London and some are unsafe and can be expensive. For safety and to be sure you are paying the right amount for your trip we would suggest using the Black cabs. More information can be found here.
